The FR. MASCHIO PLATINIUM JUBLEE CELEBRATION COMMETTEE was formed, in 1982, especially to facilitate the Very Rev. Fr. Aurelius Maschio on his -Platinum Jubilee Birthday. The Main objects of this Trust are to assist poor students in the pursuit of their studies and extend help, in every possible manner, to the poor and the sick.
Rev. Fr. Mascfiio has always held in high esteem people engaged in welfare work. it is, hence, that we 
established Award in his name to inspire and honour dedicated socialworkers. The FR.MASCHIO HUMANIMIAN AWARD,comprising Cash Gift of Rs.10,000, a Plaque and a Citation, is presented every year to Outstanding Social Workers, on Rev. Fr. Maschio's Birthday. 
Today, on the occasion Rev. Fr. Mascchio's 86th Birthday we are pleased to present our 12th ANNUAL FR. MASCHIO HUMANITARIAN AWARD to your estemed goodself in appreciation of your social reforms and community services. 
You have excelled in every sphere of life, whether it be Education, Sport or Service. You have dischagred in the most efficient mannerany and every assignment entrusted to you. You have stood up against injustice and placed others welfare and happiness above your's. 
The worst posting assigned to you in service, namely that the Inspector General of Prisons Tihar Jail you converted into a meritorious job worth of the coveted Ramon Magsaysay Award and other honours. Through your loving care and genuine concern, you have refomed the hardcore criminals and drug-traffickers in the Tihar jail and imbibed in them love for God and fellow - feeling. A noble deed worthy of emulation. 
We offer our prayers to the Almighty God to bless you with good health and long life, so that you may continue to carry on your mission of Mercy and compassion for many more years.
