

Award for honesty

Two auto rickshaw drivers of the Capital have been awarded commendation certificates class one and
a cash reward of Rs 100 each for their honesty by Mrs Kiran Bedi, deputy commissioner of police,
traffic.
Satinder Singh of Gandhi Nagar had found traveler cheques
belonging to a passenger in his vehicle and had promptly returned these to the police who later
handed them over to the owner last week.
Rajinder Singh also of Gandhi Nagar had found a red
ladies handbag in his vehicle containing a mangal sutra, a pair of ear rings and a sari pin on
March 2. After looking for the owner, the auto rickshaw driver had deposited the bag with the
