Involving NSS and NCC in a Parade

Panjim, Oct. 13. The passing out parade of over 900 students trainees belonging to National
Service Scheme (NSS) and National Cadet Corps (NCC) wings of different colleges in Goa, trained in
traffic control was held at Campal grounds in Panjim this evening.
Mr A.N. Naik, Industries Minister was present. Mr.
Rajendra Mohan IGP inspected the parade and took the salute.
The students, who were given 5 days training on Sundays
will be doing road safety work in their respective cities from 2nd week of November, 83. They will
be thereafter entrusted with Traffic Regulations work during the Commonwealth Retreat.
All students who have received the training and
associated themselves in the subsequent road work will be awarded a special Commendation
Certificate of the Inspector General of Police, Goa. |
